> USTA Florida Position Announcement: Jr. Team Tennis Local League Coordinators

USTA Jr. Team Tennis is a grassroots community level tennis program that is marketed to boys and girls ages 6 to 18.  The philosophy of the program is fun, fitness, and friends in an environment that stresses sportsmanship and socialization in a team tennis atmosphere.  The skill divisions are broken down using a rating system designed for coaches, players and parents to rate their own children.  Leagues are led by contracted Local League Coordinators that organize and handle all of the local registrations for the participants in the community.  USTA Jr. Team Tennis is a great recreational program where players of all skill levels can play with, or against, their friends in a low-key competitive environment.  To learn more about USTA Jr. Team Tennis, please read the 2009 Program Manual

USTA Florida highly recommends this course for all coaches/captains involved in our Jr. Team Tennis program.  To learn more about this course, please visit http://hstennis.usta.com.  If you have additional questions, please contact Michelle Willis at willis@florida.usta.com.
