The mission of USTA Adaptive Tennis is to promote and develop adaptive recreational tennis programs for those individuals with differing abilities. USTA Florida supports this mission and strives to develop essential partnerships with special needs organizations such as Special Olympics to ensure that all populations are offered the opportunity to learn and play tennis.

PTR and Special Olympics, Inc., have partnered to produce a step-by-step guide for beginner and volunteer Special Olympics coaches to grasp the basics of teaching tennis to Special Olympics athletes.
