"Specializing in Preparing Students for the
College Athletic Recruiting Process"

Dede Allen was the Administrator, USA Tennis Junior Competition for over 14 years. Before her years with the USTA, she coached a top 25 Division I college tennis program for 7 years at Wake Forest University and was ACC Coach of the Year during her last year at Wake. One of her strongest assets for the USTA was knowing and understanding the college recruiting game. In 1998, she wrote the USTA’s Guide for Prospective College Tennis Players and has recently published, on CD-Rom, a new guide titled Collegiate Guide for High School Tennis Players. Dede was the USTA’s liaison to the NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA and is a USTA National Recreational Coach Workshop Trainer, active teaching pro and USTA Florida Regional School Tennis Organizer.

Dede Allen will be contributing a monthly college recruiting column to help prospective collegiate tennis players through the college recruiting process. If you have specific questions for Dede, please email her at dede@ddasports.com. She will be happy to answer questions, which may appear in her next month’s column.
